The Place 4 city council race has four candidates this year. Brian Yates, the current Place 4 representative, is not running for reelection due to personal circumstances.
Place 4 candidate, Tammy Fogle, ran for the Place 6 seat last year but lost to Travis Craver by around 1500 votes. Fogle is an active participant in school board and city council meetings. She is a Hardin Simmons graduate and has been living in Abilene for 33 years.
